Brain and Body Virtual Cycling: Tour de Mexico

September 22-December 14, 2008
Sundays:
7-8 pm; ARC Cycling Studio

This video journey is both physical and educational, allowing you to exercise, learn about, and explore your world. Beautiful travel scenery, fascinating educational interviews, engaging learning activities, high energy road footage, heart energizing music, and simple exercise routines are combined in one powerful experience. Limited number of spaces!

Tribal Belly Dancing

September 22-November 16, 2008
Sundays:
4-6 pm; ARC Multi-Purpose Room 4

This is a dynamic class that takes bellydancing to the next level. After reviewing basic drills, more complex techniques and steps will be explored. Movements are linked together to choreograph dance to music. This class focuses on the specifics of Tribal Bellydancing and may include floor exercises as well.

Latin Night Club

September 22-November 16, 2008
Thursdays:
6:45-7:45 pm; CRCE Multi-Purpose Room 1

You've seen it on TV or at the local clubs, now try it! Join the latest dance craze and get in shape while doing it! Learn to dance basics of the hottest Latin dances at the clubs: Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. You will feel the sexy beats and move your body while learning the lead or follow for some basic patterns. A great class for beginning social dancing. Come alone or with a partner.

Please Also Note

  • A minimum of 5 registrants is needed per series. Campus Recreation reserves the right to cancel a session if minimum is not met. Refunds will be given in that case.
  • Wait list option in effect for sessions that meet capacity.
  • No refunds will be issued after the first session unless there is a medical condition prohibiting participation.
  • Register at Member Services (ARC/CRCE). A valid student I.D. or Campus Recreation membership is required.

Important Information:

  • Sessions are a group workout and not intended as one-on-one meetings.
  • Participants with injuries, medical conditions or spinal problems should consult a doctor before registration.

Cancellation Policy

Campus Recreation may need to alter the Instructional schedule and/or cancel sessions because of low participation, facility issues, instructor illness or other emergency situations. Should we need to communicate any series cancellations or schedule changes, we will notify participants via e-mail or phone (if this information is included on your session registration form) at least 24 hours before the first day of the session series. We will also communicate any cancellations or schedule changes on our web site.
